Aluminum aint plastic.
As for your "steel" ......... go TRY to stick a magnet on it. It won't stick its so cheap and thin. No better than aluminum when it comes to a fire.
You mentioned earlier about how heavy your volvo is because of the steel. Post up your empty weight of the tractor only.
My LargeCar is 20,000 lbs. just the tractor.Click to expand... -

So it wasn't plastic after all was it?
I don't even have to go look at my truck sitting RIGHT BESIDE my house. I know what the doors and shell are made of. -
Brickman said: ↑All the Volvos I've been around, (learned to drive on one) the entire shell was fiberglass.
Check it on Volvo site or find Volvo near you and put a magnet on sleeper.

I'm not sure if the Marine Cat it's running is heavier than stock or not nor if the frame stretch added much to it.Doors, hood and what not is aluminum. Every KW and Pete I've been around do not have plastic doors.
The red T6 that I posted a pic of earlier weighed about 18,000 to 19,000 lbs.Click to expand...
