Some smart phones have a hdmi cord adapter.... I tend to just plug either my tablet (using a micro usb-hdmi cord) or my laptop to the tv.
As for what type of phone/device is best... that is an question that will only be answered by fan boys, or people using said device.
Just get a phone/device you like, that does what you need it to. -
Agree..but I have a galaxy note2 and love the screen size.. I use it for everything and don't bring my laptop anymore.
Bandaid and silverdrifter Thank this. -
It just seems like with all the smartphones out today they would have to be a phone that you could get and wouldn't need a laptop

the only thing I would want to do is like chat watch tv listen to music on my phone and maybe download somehow any paperwork I mind need to download from dispatch or shipper receiver if I could find a phone that would let me do all that with no problems with a really nice screen size I wouldn't need a laptop

Agreed, as an o/o the galaxy note line was the option I went with due to the devices capabilities (spreadsheets and such).... the screen is awesome as well

I have a galaxy centura right now which I can chat listen and download music and watch tv if I wanted too but the screen is only 3.5 I would want maybe like 5 inch or bigger screen
-
Get the new note 3.. it is awesome.. the note 2 is equally as good but the 3 has a little bigger screen and faster processor... go to youtube and watch the video on both.. impressive

I use Verizon, its more expensive but they have excellent coverage for thier internet. That I have found comes in VERY handy finding customers, parking, and other things. A laptop is good for entertainment, or if your an O/O its great for record keeping.
