If it's oversize it's oversize, doesn't matter if it 6" or 6' it still requires strobes and a banner by law. Go complain to the FMCSA. I've never came across oversize strobes that were "blinding", and if I did, the simple solution would be to pass or fall back to a distance where they weren't a bother. You're just the type of person that needs to complain about something no matter how trivial.

I'll agree with you never have I had a set of oversize strobes blind me. Now these new blue and white LEDs on plow trucks yes I have had those blind me a few times but like you said pass them or fall back...that would be the simple solution though.

Not trivial when you are in a car, (not high up in tractor cab), in stop & go traffic and the lights cause dots in your vision. (What's that called? At 02:53 can't think of the term.)

Co-driver and I are doers, not complainers, but this is ridiculous - as though we wouldn't see steady amber lights?

This is "Questions to Truckers from the General Public"

You can't allow ice from blowing up and off your trailer and damaging vehicles in other lanes.
If it hits a vehicle in your lane, the driver was following too closely.
Hit my vehicle as he passed me in lane 2 and I was in lane 3.

I never allowed stuff to fall from the dump truck I drove. Meaning I climbed onto the load and anything which could be a problem I shoveled below the rim.

Lol. I probably should replace them with brighter ones to blind people.

It's OK. I can take it.
    Speak your peace.
Just don't allow big pieces of ice to damage others' vehicles or worse.

Or is this about blinding oversize lights. Yes, ridiculous.
Wait until someone claims they were a little blinded and disoriented by the lights and collides with another vehicle.
Attorneys will go after the driver, his company, trailer manufacturer, LED light manufacturer, the owner of what is being transported, etc.
