I'm sitting in line at one of the Blue Beacons in Amarillo writing down the required info for my next 2 loads when yet ANOTHER preplan pops up. I'm guessing it's a repeat but NO, it's another load that picks up in North Carolina and delivers in Missouri. I send a Mac9 declining the load with the reason "BECAUSE I'M IN TEXAS!!!!!!!!!!"

Turns out it was another O/O's broker load that got sent to the wrong truck, problem is they sent it to me AGAIN 15 minutes later.

At least my DM got a kick out of it!

I'm wondering why they are telling Central/Swift drivers things that we don't experience.

Are they simply trying to work the new drivers into the system without enough planning?

Another thing I don't get is, what happened to all the Central loads once Central was taken over by Swift.
    Were they all just lost?

Too much about this transition doesn't make sense to me.

Once the planners get to know you, they will be more willing to stack runs for you. It's not unusual for me to get two preplans at once. I also never turn down any run I can legally do, so if they see something 3-4 days out, they know I won't turn it down (and waste their effort).

Yes a majority of them I think got lost with the transfer.
And yea it was like they said let switch everything in one day and watch everyone scramble. Lolcause that's what happened .

Idk but I need miles and if they aren't gonna give them up or figure out where they all went I am gonna ha e to do something. I can't keep going like this .

Hey what day do you guys get paid on ?

See that's another thing , I don't know if we still have the same planners or not . I never turned any loads down nor was I ever late , actually I normally end up calling asking if I can drop cause I am a day early , so idk what is going on .

I can tell you that we don't have the same planners, because I am not on the national fleet. I'm on a dedicated account, but running OTR due to low freight volume on that account.

I believe that on National, you are at the mercy of the planners for the region you are currently in. However, if you run one area a lot, the planners can send you out of their area, but preplan a run that brings you back.

Of course, everything is speculation, but it fits what I've seen and heard.
