Where is everyone #2!!

Made it to Ingleside,Tx. today at 2 pm, Everybody was happy I made good time there.
Then I sat for 2 hours waiting for them to figure out where to unld.. I unlded right in their front lot. They can drive the freakin water trk. into their location clear in the back of the site. They were nice to stack my stinger though,
So here I sit in Sinton, Tx. at the Shell. Heads up guys. You do not want to get stuck here unless you got you own food.. No places to eat here. All they have is sandwichs in the cooler and snacks..
But they do have coffee for in the morning though. lol

 

I am in the same boat in Cottage Grove, Wi. Dining on Ritz crackers and Starkist tuna tonight.

 

How is the recent expansion treating you?

 

Well I had tuna salad sandwhichs and bbq, chips. What really bites is I called the local pizza hut, Do you del. to the trkstp. Why yes we do, ok I'll order a. Then she cuts me off and says I have to call the Pizza hut delivery line. I'm like huh?
Nope everything thing has to go through a call center now. I said Pappa John's just takes my order.. She said sorry, call the call center. I said nope. I'll just go with out Pizza hut, You lost my bussiness.

No. Left Detroit at 11pm, got here at 3am, got up at 7:30am, then sat around all day. Did get it tarped inside though!
Here is the issue apparently. They need @58' in the well, and we dont have anything that size. The enclosures are light, but still need 58" in the well, and they are 14' tall on the ground. The fuel tanks are 118,000lbs, and also need 58' in the well. The shipper here contacted the customer (Verizon) and they said to use PGT (IIRC) to sort the loads out. Broker sends a guy here to measure etc, and he drops the ball. They send 2 trucks in Monday to load the tanks, and no go. 2 more are supposed to be coming here tomorrow to load the tanks for the generators that left already.
Same broker arranges 2 stretch RGN's for 2 enclosures. One guy is here this morning, no issues. Other guy claims everything, and didnt get here until after 4pm, when he first told them noon! His piece is on the crane hooked up, mine is stuck behind it blocked in.
Blame the idiot broker, and the guy who took ALL day to come to Edelstein from Madison,Wi. I ran into him on i74, in Peoria! Talk about adding miles....
