Talk to the OP ... this probably just the kind of innuendo he is looking for ... actual facts are not necessary or pertinent to the narrative.

I appreciate the feedback. I understand your concerns. I'm patient for the one or two drivers that feel they would like a voice. I'm not hiding anything about what I'm doing. I work as a driver for swift. I see that there was a sudden surge of attacks directed to me.

I am patient and will await for some others' voices. Try to not attack someone merely because it's fashionable. The story will run. However no time set. Swift knows who I am and monitors all such posts. This is the reason I am patient. To allow the days or weeks of sarcasm that seems to come very shortly in groups to scare would be persons.

Again in I appreciate the time you've taken. However lets allow the post to saturate hundreds of members. I am only needing a few this month.

And to satisfy other comments. I have a large amount of communications from Swift. However so that article isn't biased. I am asking for further input. Simply put.

I believe evert driver deserves his or her voice. My personal information and private records were 'obtained' months ago. Including photos and written material. So when article posts. Expect a deluge of my private personal data to be shared. I'm not concerned who did this. But it did happen in the previous few months. I'm expecting that and so should you.

Its part of the business. If you are pleased with Swift post it. But it's curious that such attacks in me or my requests are always received the same way. I'll continue patience in the coming weeks and months. And will obtain further driver input. That is the proper method. I do not entice attacks. But they are expected. I do not take it personally.

Im looking for GOOD and BAD experiences. I see most are tuning into the hells fury expectation that soon is expected to follow. Recent past drivers often come forward. I do not know of a more professional approach. Even begging for good experiences. Please.

    Respectfully,
    IT

Currently at a Swift terminal for repairs. Having interruptions in my posts at times. Sorry for any delays in my replies.

I am experiencing jumping text and my posts being jumbled. Sorry about that. Will reach out to moderator for assistance.

To put this bluntly, every driver who ever drove for Swift or any other company will have their own unique experiences. Some will boo Swift because they had one or two bad experiences, yet continue to drive for them. Others will take the opposite approach and say Swift is great regardless of bad experiences because they had more good than bad. It all boils down to the drivers' perspective and how they interpret it.

I drove for Swift a few years ago. Did I have bad experiences with them? Certainly; however, I didn't let the bad run my life. I took them as learning tools and kept on trucking. I didn't leave Swift because of any issues with them, I left because I let my health decline and could not pass a physical. Now I am waiting for another 6 months to pass and I will be back at Swift again.

Aside from the above, what are you tying to gain by gathering personal opinions from drivers? You're driving for Swift right now. Are you doubting your decision in working for Swift or do you have some other motive? Besides, using Internet forums as sources for whatever it is you are creating are not considered reliable should not be used in professional papers. College English 101 would have taught you this.

Thank you for your input. Nice points. However you're not correct on reaching out to inquire on personal experiences. This is how research is obtained.

My interest is to provide an article as a driver for swift. This is very common in media. Whether they are factual experiences is up to the writer and is a tad more difficult. However I have extensive personal examples. I want to write a more balanced story.

Not sure how to approach this any more professionally. Anyone in my position requires thick skin. I don't mind the jabs. It's the few drivers a month additional that I hope to get stories from. Having posted these such requests.

On a side note. I have spoken with multitudes of drivers personally. I thought I'd reach out to a larger audience.

This is how information is obtained. Sorry you do not feel the same. However I have only contrasting opinions on my request. My actual request has been dissected. And rightfully so.

I'll leave this and other posts elsewhere looking for driver experiences. I speak with drivers most days.

These such requests are merely secondary approaches. Wanting to create the most fair review as possible.

Further I have asked a number of times to discuss varying issues that drivers complain about internally within Swift. I was never given the opportunity to get any resolution or reasoning from Swift. Simply ignored each time. Never understood that.

I approached Swift more than once. No response. I reached out to other drivers and have a pretty good understanding of drivers experiences.

I contacted the TSA for transportation related questions for guidance. Having explained my situation. They strongly suggested that I follow up with the DOT. Which was done recently. I am taking those necessary steps.

Proper stories take weeks and months to prepare. Recent experiences with Swift have become difficult and unfortunate. As you can appreciate. I'm under scrutiny daily. But I trying to represent drivers from not only my experiences. But theirs as well to balance it properly.

I've noticed in the last week extensive efforts not in my favor. As you can not imagine. I'm going to be more fair to swift than even to myself in the article. But I will be sharing many experiences. With photos here and there.

In honesty. I am needing positive experiences from Swift drivers. That would help me the most.

I would have preferred resolving things professionally internally. Unfortunately. In the last week. Serious privacy issues have arisen. And I am not easily intimidated. Especially when it's an honest attempt to represent average drivers. I expect being given more difficult situation as an driver.

I'll ask Swift if they would like to comment. I want them to respond. To give their reasons for actions or inactions in my listed topics in original post. I wish we could have worked together as I have given honest efforts toward.

Yes my posts are a bit long. But I find myself repeating certain points. And trying to be courteous. So that I again am defending my request for input. Which I still do not understand.

My post views is about 250 within hours of my post. I am thankful for that.

Again this is reaching out to the industry. That was not covered in English 101. However it was covered in Media 101, 102 and I believe 103. (Smiles)

    Thanks my Friend,

I have no doubt that many drivers have had problems with Swift, and how Swift does things.

Still, in my own experience, I have had very few problems.
Perhaps that is because I have had good DM's, and/or because I don't try to nitpick everything to death.

You can go through my posts to see how I feel about Swift, and the Swift way. I've never been afraid to voice my opinion.

Trouble with Swift is, there is not really that much to complain about.
I've had a couple service failures that were unjustified, I hate Plus-1, every now and then it is hard to get the load home on time, night and weekend people can sometimes be a real pain in the backside, ummm... that's about it.

The pay is rather low, but that was understood from the beginning. If I wanted to leave for more pay I could easily do so.
And while I hate Plus-1, I know how to deal with it on my own terms.

    Home time.
I usually take 3 days per month, and I usually get there within 1-2 days of the requested date.
There was a period last year that I had to fight for it, but that has not been the case as a norm.

With my current request to be in Denver on the 14th, I was also faced with getting a b-service just days before that. My last load took me to Sparks, NV, and I had a pplan (picking up in CA) getting me to Denver on the 14th - but I had to turn it down because I had to get the truck serviced.
B-service was completed on the day I was supposed to pick up the load.
I received the same plan that evening, but it was picking up at the Sparks terminal as a t-call.
Someone else had picked up the load and t-called it in Willows, and yet another driver brought it to me in Sparks.
So I'll get my home time on the date requested after all, and with the same load I turned down before.

They didn't have to do that. I'm sure a single driver could have made that run to Denver.
And I am not that great, that they would jump through hoops for me. I am, basically, one of the 'lazy' drivers.

I never feel 'looked down upon' by any office staff or mechanic. They are, normally, very helpful and professional.
Perhaps that is because I treat them in the same way? I dunno.

And just today, I requested to take an alternate route than my fuel route. (I needed to get to a particular smoke shop to get my pipe tobacco... I didn't mention that, just asked if I could go a certain way)
    The message back...
Yes sir, I have routed you that way. Be safe.

That has been my experience with Swift for the past 3 years.
    In a nutshell.

I appreciate the time you've taken to post.

So that you are aware. You have mentioned some points that seem to be reoccurring and experienced by other drivers.

However my main interest was your positive comments about Swift.

I'm always happy to see a content driver. Never expect any company to be perfect. None exist.

May I contact you through this sites private messaging?

    Again,
    Thank you for sharing.

As is expected. A number of threads have started both here and on other sites. Directing drivers to videos and such.

Criss crossing into my start date with Swift and unfortunate choice of names trying to dispel me as crazy or an inferior driver.

I wouldn't argue the crazy suggestions made. Because of what has been endured.

Keep in mind any photos or videos posted were 'obtained' in an illegal manner.

    Strengthening my original points interest.

There is a significant effort it seems to discredit myself. That is to be expected when dealing with documented information that may be discrediting to a company.

There is a professional manner in which to conduct business. I would not agree this has been anything remotely close. It is my belief that such efforts will continue and strengthen.

I am making efforts to reach out to Swift numerous times. Each time has been ignored. The enormity of involvement from whoever. Is not unprecedented. So be aware of these actions. As you can plan to see personal data photos and videos surface.

In the industry I believe it's referred to as damage control. I'm patient and it is Swift that will need to deal with documented issues to the public image they have.

Just keeping you aware. I am now since yesterday been removed from my truck and being all the sudden put into another. I won't comment condition. But they chose to give a purple truck. And I actually like it. (See below) aside from the fresh keyed scratches all over the drivers' side door. I say fresh because there is no rusting and scratches are all the way down to the metal. Not my truck. Not my problem. The truck is nice and only 343k miles. Which is certainly reasonable. I'll post a picture for you later after registration process is complete.

Thank you for the continued efforts I make simply to get some answers.

And in final. As a reminder. When such stories photos and videos surface of my personal life. Keep in mind all such documents were 'obtained' in an illegal manner. Whoever chose to so.

Look for topics on or related to :

Mitch Mick Mickey Michael Tabor Xenvi

Start date or reference to academy in Tennesee.

Use of the terms crazy or sarcastic like names. All for me.

Gay bi-sexual harassing names of similar. references have been made for months such as pink or even purple stickers or writing left on my truck or trailer. This also is to be expected as this was a portion of my private life illegally obtained. To this day no family member was aware. I am bi-sexual I'm private. It will now likely be broadcast. So I'm just making statement now.

Innuendos and sarcasm comes with the job. At two times I had to reach out to gay rights societies. While working for Swift. For their advice and direction.

Tongue in cheek comments such as one of the earlier post had reference to "deep throat" I learned to ignore such things. But have continued for some time. Whoever those people are.

Also any need or pressured ambition to share'their' photo or videos with you.

Those such posts or similar are merely directed at me. As a warning is my belief.

Thank you for your continued interest.

    IT

A special thanks to Ron at my last visited terminal. He is a nice man. The purple color was likely 'suggested' for him to assign me. Or it absolutely could have been just by mere chance that I ended up with one of the less common colors. That is certainly plausible.

But is it a sad reality that I like the truck and color? (Smiles)

Aside from they extensive keying to drivers side area.

You want a story? Here's one:
I drove for Swift. My dispatchers called me names and I didn't make much money. I got depressed. I started to get fat. Then really fat. Then, really, really, fat. I couldn't even reach "certain areas" to wash when I took my weekly shower. So I stopped showering altogether.
I started to stink. Really bad.
A dog even lifted his leg on me.
I started to grow body hair on my back and even on my buttocks.
Even though I was away from home all the time trying to earn a buck, I still couldn't support my family.
One day, I heard on the "noose" channel about Americans living in poverty. They even gave a dollar amount as to what poverty level was. Well, I needn't worry 'bout that as I was making well below that dollar amount. And not to worry, the "Top Dawgs" at Swift are all multi-millionaires.
Then, it hit me: " I'm gettin' scroowed".
    I skedaddled outta there.
I lost weight. A lot. I even shaved my back ( my wife shaved my buttocks but refused to ever do that again). And I don't have to walk nude through the truck wash anymore for a shower.
I'm even back to work cleaning toilets at "Murphys Bowl O rama" down by the Piggly Wiggly and actually, finally making minimum wage.
    Life is sweet!

And so it begins. Humor is always a nice outlet. Walking nude through your truck is considered privacy and protected by law. With curtains drawn all drivers deserve such privacy as do you. As well as use of terminal facilities. Mentioning all the above merely in the context of privacy Those are the things that have caught my attention. Thank you for your input and post.
