My driving record states... these are disposition dates... 03/20/2009 SPEEDING 63/45 06/06/2007 RECKLESS DRIVING 01/16/2007 OPERATING WHILE INTOXICATED 09/03/2003 SEAT BELT VIOLATION
I have applied to many companies and heard nothing. I'm well aware I would need a refresher course. But I'm thinking this record must be why I never hear back after applying.
Will any company hire me? I got my CDL on 1-17-2013.

With a drving record like that, you better do online applications then follow with a phone call in a couple of days. Gives the company time to digest all of that. Put your city/state on your profile; we need to know the hiring area you live in.

The DUI and Reckless Driving are a big no no in the trucking industry. you can try, but most wont hire till after at least 7 years if your lucky.

it looks like once you got your license back from the o.w.i. suspension you turned around and got a big fat wreckless driving ticket soon after that. so you probably had them suspended again for wreckless driving. and once you got them bad and you were off probation for the o.w.i. you moved to texas to start over. or you went to texas to try and get a license there while Indiana had you suspended. and texas said no. so either you stayed in texas until Indiana lifted the suspension and then you paid the reinstatement fee to get the texas license. and you still got stuck with the bad mvr from Indiana on the texas license.. even though it's been 7 years since that time. I have to wonder how many jobs you have had in that 7 years. trucking companies don't want people that change jobs a lot. here we call it job hopping. that could be another thing stopping you. so seeing how the o.w.i is a crime and the wreckless driving is a crime. which means you can't go to Canada. that's another record you have now. so you need to get your criminal record to see what is on it. in trucking we use what is call a dac record. you can get a free copy of it from the hireright.com web site. it takes 2 weeks for it to come. and use the information in it only to list on the application. and the o.w.i goes in both criminal history and the d.u.i. part of the application. plus if the application isn't done right 100% of the way from start to finish. then the recruiters or safety won't work on it. and it will get deleted. that's all I can help you with.... and good luck.
