You can switch it to add the street first. Before you enter a house number, on the right just hit enter street.

PM me that street, city, state info... it could be wrong in the map database.

As far as getting behind you, the receiver might be off. What other electronics do you have around it? Dash Cam?

If you go to Preferences/General/GPS Status - what is the satellites used/seen and the DOP?

    thanks,
    Mark

When you see this, on the map screen, click on the COG at the bottom, left side. Take a screen snap shot of this.

You can turn on the "Camera" - Preferences/General/Screen Snap Shot - turn on. This will place a "camera" on all screens in the upper left.

To retreive the Snapshot, connect the TND to the computer, look for the drive for that TND, then go to RM/User/ScreenSnapshots - here you will find the ".png" of the screen shot.

I then can forward that to RM GIS to have them look at that road.

Note - In prior versions you would have gotten this a lot, but if you are on 2922, you should not be getting that. Preferences/General/About - right side.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I always seem to get that dirt road sign
going into some truck stop parking lots
    so I just ignore it
    like going into a shipper
and the truck entrance isn't the address on BOL
you need to be smarter then a 5 inch box

Of course you ignore it. the point is unless there is actually a dirt road there the warning shouldn't be popping up, and if it it it needs to be addressed.

the real trouble comes from people blindly following it
the little 5 inch box that I love dearly is just a tool
as imperfect as the humans programming it

Before this continues on and on, this is a support thread. Any information about the GPS and how to respond to it can be started in another thread.

If you get a dirt road warning, simply on the map screen go to the bottom left and tap on the COG. Take a picture of the Lat/Long and get that info to me. I can have the GIS department at RM look at the Map segments and see how it is coded.

There are mistakes in the map segments, not all maps are 100% and will most likely never be, but with your input, we can strive for more accurate maps.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Info, MATS is around the corner. RM will be in the West wing in our normal spot, just inside the doors behind the white box truck. Support (CS) along with myself will be there to help with any issues with your TND.

So, to save walking time, if you have a TND issue, bring it with you so you don't suddenly find our booth and now have to walk back to your truck or remember you left it a few hundred miles away at your house....

I will not be hard to miss. I will have my huge laptop again, along with 1-2 others fired up for updating. We will have laptops on XP, Win7, and Win8 in case you have issues with yours connecting.

If you have an issue with your Laptop and the Dock, bring it in along with the power cord. I will look at it and attempt to do a healing process on it so the TND Dock will work. Note - I am not a Mac person.

    Thanks,
