Thanks for the info. My money goes into my bank; I still ave $200 on the Comdata card which I will keep as an emergency stash. Normally, I much prefer using a store like Walmart because of the convenience and access to money. I just have to remember to plan on taking my breaks there instead of truck stops!

I'm in Aurora, Nebraska, on my way to Rancho for a new delivery time of Friday morning. In spite of the all-day delay and the most UN-FREAKING-BELIEVABLE parking lot mess (a story much too long for here, but I've never seen anything as bad as what I saw) I made good time, so I think I can make the new delivery. I will have about 11 hours on the clock, starting at 1:00 am and I plan to use all of them. I feel like a real truck driver; good weather, long, straight road ahead of me and music on the box.

Do you realize it was 50 years ago that a group of four lads from England arrived in the US to play music? Rock 'n roll was changed forever.

Unfortunately, I would still be living in Jordan for 3 more years when they came to the US the first time, or I would have paid to see them play. Being a drummer, I was a huge Ringo fan. And yes, I am that old!

Time to sleep before the last big push to Rancho. I'll have to make a 10-hour drive tomorrow and hustle to make the Friday delivery, and it all depends on my time management across 4 time zones being correct! "Just Do It" seems like a good motto...not too many stops, don't drink coffee, and stay at 60.

And hope all the scales are closed until California, when they're never closed - they just wait for me! - or the green PrePass light illuminates the darkness, as it has.
