This has nothing to do with this but . heads up..... if ya ever come to grand island Nebraska to McCain , don't park in our drop lot across the st over night . dam trains keep going by , dam I am never gonna get sleep . Lmfao had to share that with all of ya . Lol And I can't leave either , 28 mins in violation already. Oops!!!!! Edit : oh and let me mention kinda creepy here to . I keep hearing #### , sounds like people walking around . I am bout to be outta here
So I may as well ask this while I am sitting here and can't sleep . What's Shifts policy about a log violation ? Central really didn't say anything unless you were a frequent flyer .
Lol I stayed there one night. You can also feel the train shake the ground a little as it passes. I think I woke up only once during the night, was pretty tired.
I don't really know. I've been over by several minutes, either on driving time or my 14, only a couple times. I'll make a remark that I had to find a safe haven, and I've never heard anything after. If it happens too often I'm sure you will hear something.
Hahaha. That train thing sucked . I kept hearing people , or animals. Anyhow I moved out to the front . Lmfao where there was light . Hahahaha I got much better sleep for all of 7 hrs . Lol
BTW, Central drivers still have to be under Central DMs which will be located in West Valley, UT. Loma Linda, CA (@Swift) Pasco, WA, Rochelle, IL and Decatur, GA (@Swift). Dont know if you guys had heard but they're closing the Conley and Fontana terminals moving to the near by Swift terminals at the end of the month. Took a 30 minute break in Conley today and dear gawd a ton of unseated trucks are there. I guess alot of people are leaving. My DM told me that quite a few of his drivers have quit as well. I should know tomorrow from a prospective employer as to whether or not they're going hire! Hope so, considering I would get a substantial raise!
Well, hopefully some of you will stick with Swift for a while. It's not as bad as it seems right now. I think that those that stick around will have better luck than with this botched transition. I hope so, anyway.
We will see tomorrow when I pull into the terminal to drop my empty trailer. Maybe ill just pull in full speed (all 62 mph ) and put it right through the front of the building . Lol oh wait this isn't Sick Simon.
Don't forget to spin it 90 degrees and slide to 3 feet in front of the building! That finishing touch makes all the difference.
