Yeah didn't get out of there until about 1730 what a joke. Won't go back there. Didn't make it far, hit the truck stop and decided to just stop here for the night and get a much needed shower, etc. Kinda wanted to get back on an earlier schedule too, running till 2200-2300 is a pain in the butt sometimes.

So it'll be up at 5am tomorrow, 120ish miles to the delivery, then head off to MS for my pickup, then head towards GA again.

Spoken from someone that obviously has not looked into this in any real detail. The lease purchase is the best way to go in regards to taxes. Also you can pick your options you just have to pay for them up front.

Well, grabbed a load out of Detroit this morning headed down to Laredo. Said it was 40,000 lbs, turned out to be 18,600. Love it when that happens LOL.

After that, gonna grab a quick load to get me back home to Fort Worth. And then I HAVE to take this thing to Freightliner and get the heater fixed. I've spent a stomach churning (approximate) $320 in fuel idling this week, since I've been where it's cold. Can't keep doing that, even if it means being down for a day or two. Ugh.

Do you guys know if anyone can service the ParkSmart that is not a Freightliner dealer?

Parksmart uses a Espar or Webasto for heat.
So for the heating side off things you could go the then, depebding on which heater you have.
(If the fault is just with the heater)
This is the manufacturer off the complete Parksmart package:

But the question is can dealer communicate with parksmart? When my went out Bad fuel line the unit went into lock down mode to prevent damage. Laredo had to call freightliner and ask what the error code was and how to reset it. The unit also isn't under your bunk but under the cab down around where shifter is

Yep they just added Scotts to the name and hyphenated it.

Sitting here in Southaven, MS (just south of Memphis TN) getting loaded now, then its back down the same way I came up. Nice drive up 78, never ran that before... I think they're starting to rename it to I-22 now?? Anyway, nice quiet highway to knock out some miles on.

Don't know exactly how far I'll make it tonight. Skies have been looking threatening all day but haven't done much. Sure was windy, made it a real fun ride with an empty trailer. Hopefully the bad weather will hold off.

I remember when I 20 ended right there around 78,maybe where that sharp curve is on 20 W.And a good portion of 78 across Alabama was 2 lane.
