Here it goes: I'm a new Freight Agent working under a Freight broker.I need help finding Manufacturers that use Brokers.I was told that I'm on my own in doing this. So If a Trucker Or a Company can work together with me on this,I can send you a packet with the Information about the broker firm I work for.In doing this, I would be a freight agent you would work with & trust. And I know this works both ways.
I hope we can work as a team & do away with the hassle of working with dishonest people,I'm also someone who wants to make a living & support my wife & children.
    Any suggestions?

Thank you for your time,Please email me @ geezergdad@gmail.com

Hey Newly crusin, I feel you. The trucking industry isn't what it used to be. Loads aren't paying what they use to. I have met O/O that used to work in a warehouse, they decided to purchase a truck because someone told them it was good money, they take loads for cheap not realizing it should be paying way more. I started turning loads down because they weren't paying enough and someone else would take it. How are the rates ever gonna change if ignorate drivers don't do their math. I recently left my broker, and haul load from ComFreight.com, they offer shipper loads and they pay great, $2-$3 per mile.

What is so great about $2-$3 a mile? I had a broker scream at me yesterday for paying a lousy $3.27 a mile on 185 loaded miles for my homebound leg. Barely covered 35 deadhead miles guess those are always supposed to be on me not the broker? Huh... If he did lose money, which I doubt, why is my rate the ridiculous one? Shouldn't he not be charging so low?
