Do you drive a Buick? :) Turn the Lawrence Welk CD down, and move back over to the right lane when you aren't passing.

90+ mph was an interesting solution. Why didn't you just move over so he could get by?

He was within ten feet and kept accelerating, he wouldn't get off my tail, if he hit the corner of my car I could have spun out. And furthermore, trucks over 10,000 pounds are not allowed in the left lane in the state of PA. He wanted the whole lane for himself so he could go to his destination faster. So why would you defend a trucker who used his truck as a weapon?

I'm not defending the idiot, I have no use for people who do what he did. I'm just not seeing how running 90+ is a good solution.

Passed by this when the were cleaning it up...thought they had the torn up guard rail on a flatbed wrecker...then I saw the rim/hubcap in the pile...only way you could tell it was a car. Run this stretch every day and that area is one where everyone pushes on each other hard...pretty sad people don't care about each other enough to realize they are doing something dangerous.

    54Trucker and Marksteven Thank this.

From what I can remember the speed limit is 70, accelerating a car to 90 isn't that much considering it was a short distance. I did that because I was afraid if I got over he would have accelerated hard and could have hit the corner of my car causing me to spin out into a guard rail or possibly into another truck. And I doubt the coward would have stopped to see if I was alright.

Two things, first he had no business in the left lane, second I was doing the speed limit and passing trucks. He was empty and accelerated hard flashing his high beams on and off refusing to back off after I threw my four ways on. With all the problems in this industry you would think drivers would 'slow it down' but they rush and say 'Get out of my way I'm making money!'. That is exactly the attitude that gets four wheelers killed.

Why was the truck not allowed or had no business in the left lane?
