Nice town ,all my kids went to Battle Ground high school.
Its all of 18,000 people but it's the big town in our area lol.
If we need something that can't be had out here or we have serious grocery shopping to do that's where we go, there's not much out here.

I get bored taking the same line haul route everyday... If I can get the 1st extra board bid then it will change it up
jakebrake12 Thanks this. -

if your on a bid at UPSF you run that bid every night, even if there is extra loads for better runs... I know at CWF if there were extra runs they would give it to the senoir guys who to run and then have the flex guys run the bad runs. If my run is cancelled like it was for the past 3 weeks then I can go on extra board. I will say the changes were NICE. But no my hub has decided to reopen tomorrow, but ive heard they are shutting the hub part down and sending it all to the other terminals, which in my case means a longer run. -
At my last job I ran the same routes every week...I got so good at backing at these tight places, so what I would do to break the routine is I would come through a different street or entrance or set up differently. But yea I can see how some May get bored.

Im planning on buying the house from my dad eventually, right now I live in an apartment that's part of the house. -
I am regional long haul LTL flat bed and most weeks I get to see the same route and same customers but my loads are always different and interesting. An sometimes like today I get to go to Toronto Canada and sit on my butt for hours waiting to be unloaded lol.

My city p&d has has me based in Calgary, and almost weekly trips to Red Deer, and occasionally Lethbridge or Medicine Hat for day-trips doing deliveries. Just did a med-hat run today! City tomorrow, and Lethbridge on Thursday this week.

Got'ta luv some classics like that, hang on to them!
I had a '55 Chevy two door post,a '67 Impala 2 door fastback and a '69 Camaro that I had stuffed a 427 Vette motor into years back, just a couple of the ones I wish I'd have kept.
I built the Camaro from a basket case at age 22,it was actually a pretty straight car with a 327 sporting a rod through the side of the block when I got it.
Of course it wasn't all that old a car at the time (1977) lol.
