I keep hearing a guy advertising his CB Shop all over the country. Someone said he is out in Oklahoma using a Skip or Ham Radio. It's really annoying hearing his recording on Ch.19 all day long.
1. Is this legal?
2. Why would you want to do this?
He doesn't say what town he's in, just the interstate, exit number, & that he's behind the Pilot so sending a signal clear across country wouldn't really benefit him.![]()
Legal?

He is in TX, there's already a thread about him.

No advertising the sale of goods or services is not legal, but the FCC doesn't usually enforce it.

Is the Cadillac man still calling out? I haven't heard him in awhile.

Skip has been really hot the last few days. It's getting really annoying expecially when they are all stepping on each other. Wish the skipers would stay off 19.

I didn't think it was legal. I don't mind the guys that have regular radios that advertise, 10mi. & your out of range but this guy ya gotta listen to all day long!!! There is another guy I heard everyday last summer from Southern Cali that talked to people all over the country with his BIG radio. Should be illegal for those guy to BS all day on 19.

He has a real annoying weasel sounding voice, talking about putting in bigger finals & drives @ exit104 A as in apple.

I keep hearing some schmuck on chnl 6 during the day, if it was in my area I wouldn't use this guy because of his abuse of the CB.

There's a guy that plays a recorded message on the upper east coast talking about a hunt for Big Foot and recent sightings on channels too...not usually on 19 tho.
