Would you give away a shower?

I give them away if someone needs one...usually earn 2 per day and I only can use 1 per day..so no big deal

When I fuel trucks, I leave the receipt with the cashier and have then give the next person a shower who wants to pay for one

 

I always give one away if someone ask in a heartbeat

 

I do it if someone needs it

 

If I see someone about to pay for one, I tell them to keep your money, I have an extra shower credit.

 

Pattyj I know. But our trucks are fueled only at Ryder shops. Some shops have showers but they aren't cleaned good.

 

A few years ago, I was stopped at a truck stop in Sioux Falls, SD, and I was a new driver and did not know how much it cost to buy a shower. After I asked the clerk and found out they wanted $10 for a shower, I decided I could wait another day before getting a shower. Then a driver comes up to me and gives me a shower ticket.....wow....that was sure nice of him to do that. I am thankful to this day for his kindness!!!

 

I slept through a tornado at a Loves.It was my first stop there,as I always used Pilots.
It was a rough night,and I went in around 5am to buy a shower.
The girls wanted a card,which I didn't have.I just wanted a shower,and felt rough,
after a sleepless night.
They gave me one for free,and I will never forget them for it.It was a great act of kindness
during a stressfull time.A nice shower always helps clear my head,and start a new day.
It does mean a lot when you are green.Thanks Loves

 

I have given away showers to other drivers at truck stops many times. Its easy to do when I only shower once a month myself.
