Can some people throw out some names and info on the companies? O/O or company. I'd prefer O/O though. I'm out of Minnesota if that helps.
Heavy haul companies

ATS. Mixed reviews. Mostly good.
Battle Born Thanks this. -
Yeah, I can get in there anytime I want, but I am not a fan of their equipment or how they run it. I'd have to get more driver info from them. Just seems like even though I have 4 years of step/flat/rgn, that I'd still start on flat as an O/O and I'm not too sure about it.

Valley Transportation, Perkins Specialized, Midwest Specialized, Kirscher Transport or Admiral Merchants are a few places to start looking.
Battle Born Thanks this. -
Keen transport out of Carlisle, Pa., hands down the best company I ever drove for. They are the in house carrier for Caterpillar, anywhere Cat has a plant, Keen has a terminal there.
Battle Born, Hammer Head 44 and kachup Thank this. -
Man, I forgot all about Valley Trans. Keen seems good, but their fleet seems weak.

nope, have always had o/o. heard they are hiring some now
Battle Born and Hammer Head 44 Thank this. -
PS. I'm going to be a company driver for a while, and see how the other half lives. Be kinda nice to re-leave myself of so much of the stress. I can always buy a truck and go the O/O route...Last edited: Mar 19, 2014
