I don't even drop it on a bock then. With a good set of ramps there really is no need unless the ground is soft or it's asphalt and you don't want the trailer to sink in

If I am on dirt and it is not frozen I have 2 2x8 blocks I put under the ends of the frame rails so it won't sink into the dirt, if it is really muddy I might use a board that goes the distance.
Also when dropping the trailer if there is a chance it is going to freeze I drop the trailer on the blocks so it wont freeze to the ground, if the blocks freeze its easy to whack them with a hammer and loosen em up, but if the trailer freezes to the ground, especially if the ground was wet, it can make things really #### difficult in a hurry. -
Just a bit of a mess.... I-25 Denver
A woman was killed and 30 people were taken to three hospitals with injuries Saturday morning after a giant pileup on Interstate 25.
Denver police said 104 vehicles were involved in a string of accidents between Logan Street and University Boulevard that occurred as a heavy band of snow moved through town before 11 a.m.
