Dispatcher tries to force driver to drive tired. *MUST SEE*

    My guess is they do not have a company social media policy in place. I bet they have a lawyer drawing one up as we speak. You can post you tubes all you want but a company can restrict you doing it from a truck they own with a simple form signed by all the drivers.

    A super trucker is one who goes above and beyond the call of duty.

    A super trucker has goals to be the best they can be. Every mile counts. He learns from his/her mistakes. They are always looking for ways to improve and be better at their job. They do their job with a smile. Even though their day has been under a black cloud.

    A super trucker loves his job. Loves his fellow super truckers brothers and sisters, and pray's that more would stop being dime a dozen steering holders. And start putting a little pride in their work.

    A super trucker is not ashamed to admit when he is wrong, but you better believe he/she is going to work on not being wrong the next time.

    A super trucker doesn't mind a little dirt on his hands or his trucks. It tells people his truck ain't a show truck. It's a work truck. These hands are not afraid of a little oil and dirt and his/her calloused hands.

    A super trucker is not taught by books, but motivated by his love for job.

    These are just a few characteristic of a super trucker. These are the Characteristic that will get you. Yes you if you desire to go above and beyond a steering wheel holder mentality. That will get you. Yes You into the Super Truckers Hall of Fame. In which I am not only the President. I'm also a client :)

    Trucker D if I can call you that. I hold out the peace branch between us. I really don't think we will ever agree on anything. But I do admire the fact you are trying to better yourself.     In a civilized nation our biological clock begins our day. A normal nights sleep is 8 hours, leaving 16 hours of wake time. The driver rested for 10 and woke up, his 16 hour natural clock was already started.. K&B had no work for him other than a 1/2 hour, they told him to take a 10 hour break on his 16 hour biological clock and restart on the 10th hour on his biological clock. HOS states that no driver shall work more than 14 hours collectively..

    So now comes the 11th hour and the driver begins his shift, he really has only has 4 hours before his 14, 4 hours x 60mph average is 240 miles, in perfect driving conditions and without stopping. There is also a 15 minute pre trip and post trip which brings the average down to 210 miles, excuse me..plus the half hour which probably took away another hour which would be 2 1/2 hours x 60 mph which = only 150 miles from his prior destination in perfect driving conditions which depend on the time of day and the weather.

    The only reasonable and humane way to treat the driver would be to give the driver the day off with pay plus downtime since the company failed to dispatch him at his start time.

    That's why I say..

    "STRIKE IN ANY WAY YOU CAN!"

    Mr 54 Trucker where do you plant the money tree. So that all trucking companies can have one so they can pay drivers who don't drive.

    Now if there is no magical money tree. Where does the company get this money from since. They have to cancel the load. So they can give it to a carrier who does have a driver who can deliver the load.

    Also this guy has been driving over 3 years. So please I'm sure he should be use to sleeping when you can sleep, and driving when you can drive.

    Brokers take a huge cut and a lot of times do not pay fuel surcharges. And, Carriers are known to give kickbacks to the traffic managers. If the bribery and kickbacks stopped plus the usury forced on Carriers by insurance and oil companies came to an end there would be plenty of profit money.

    Today, my Carrier paid me a full wage because our work was canceled. I work for a small O/O. If he has the money then the bigger companies have a lot more..

    ..Gross wages for a local semi..$200,000.00. Gross wages for a trailer load regional truck...$250,000.00. Gross wages for an LTL Refrigerated Carrier $300,000.00. 50 trucks x $300,000.00 = FIFTEEN MILLION DOLLARS GROSS! FOR FIFTY TRUCKS! HOW MANY TRUCKS DOES K&B HAVE?!
