The first guy I made sure I got in good with was him. He lives about 3 miles from me and we shoot the crapola everytime. Heck I rolled into his office in October and told him I had a couple hrs to kill at the yard before a pick up and said why dont you just go ahead and upgrade me now while he had a couple 2013 & 2012's sitting waiting for new drivers. Told him I knew he had to do it in the next month or so because I was running 1154 and 6 months before he called me on hometime to tell me he sold my truck! (1126). Besides 1154 was 5k overdue on its PM! Said seriously to him lets do it now. He smiled and stared at me for a moment. I laughlingly told him to get up and lets do it! Take care of a fellow Hanover county boy! In truth I was bluffing and honestly just wanted to get a Volvo with a Deer Killer on the front. I think they look sharp! Darn if he didnt say Id probably whoop him if he offered a Mack to me. He winked and said "1320, its yours if you want it...just had it detailed for you specially". Hes full of it but in a good way.
Hes a solid stand up guy in my opinion. As my good friend, ex- teammate and now a Green Machine trainer Terry Johnson (KW#1446) says: "You might think Ol Bill has Alzheimers, but no he suffers from Sometimzers!"

I need to get out ahead of this storm but hell I condemned myself to the Northeast permanently. So I might as well accept my fate for Monday and enjoy Sunday I suppose. My 8yr old daughter has wiped out my checking acct this weekend. She plays 8U fastpitch and did her tryout this morning. No cuts, just so the league can assess skills etc then coaches draft. Dropped $300 at #####. Got her Softball cleats, she had been using soccer cleats. A bada$$ Worth bat to replace the $30 Easton i got her last year, matching color schemed "Yeah, I'm cool!"(Her words) backpack bat bag, and matching batting gloves. I admit I spoil her. Guilty. Id coach her team if weren't on the road. As long as I live she will always have 100% of my heart.
Besides I promised her new equipment if she: (1) gets "B's" and above grades (2)showed aptitude for the sport and practiced. She held up her side so out came the wallet! Arrrgghhh!!!!!
She had to chose between fastpitch or her 5th year of dance. So Win!Win!! No more 6 hr recitals!! Mercy!!! Hallelujah!!!!

I guess I should try that. I'm in 1147. Its an old one. 439k. And its got some other issues. Haha the radio in this truck doesn't even work. Inverter doesn't work either. But since I'm the new guy I get the hand-me downs. Maybe I can upgrade before too long.

Hometime ended Monday. I called George to tell him not to head to Richmond until I called him because of the weather. He was sick anyway. So I grabbed the truck and went to our fav hummus company for a supposed 8-9pm HPL going to Blue & White Queens,NY for a 6am tues del. checked in and went to sleep. They called me at 5am. So I hooked and did my ppwk. Got out to the truck and called up to Queens to give Brad the news. So resched for 5am Wed. Yippxee!

Delivered without a hitch. Another big truck was coming in after me and all the driver could say was "holy crap how did you get that in there?!?" First timer in the burrows. So I walked him through it and wished him luck. Now sitting out on LI at the dock at our favorite Hummus maker waiting to get loaded for delivery at colonial heights. Plant to plant shipment. Its another fun one to get into but not too bad. My advice to future folks coming here SWING WIDE to get in to the alley. Youll need all the space to get straight to thread the needle between the buildings.
On a positive note, I think I found parking very close to Blue &white on Review Ave on the East side of Van Damme. Will go for that next time.

So got delivered this morning at Colonial Heights and snuck back into the yard. Napped then ran back to my house to clean up and then swing by the pharmacy. George met me at 9 and we were off to Connecticut and Rhode Island. Stopped at the Flying J at the 109 and ate Golden Corral. Somewhat regretting that decision! Got to get up and run the gauntlet early tomorrow.

We headed out about 0330 and george drove. He is still sick and had a turn for the worse this morning. Hes not over this stuff yet. Had to pull him out the seat. He gave it his best effort but the sickeypooness won.
1st delivery was fun. Had to pull across US 1 in Norwalk then completely back across it to get to this LL store. I thought of the USX and Werners I made fun of for having to deliver Family Dollar and Dollar General...same tight lots with no turnarounds. They did have a dock I jacknifed it into. Drove up to Cranston RI and delivered. Let Tim know George is down for the count and is just a passenger for now. Of course he will still get the miles for his wealth. He can do all the qcomm stuff. He just isnt well enough to be as sharp as he needs to be. He agreed with my assessment of his health and the effect on his driving skills. Now if I can just stay healthy! So far only the cough for me. Fingers crossed. Maybe its eating healthier and not pigging out. I was 340lbs this past Fall now I am at 305. Feel healthier and stronger now.

It was not meant to be. I have the plague now. Dizzy and lightheaded. Not driving until that clears up. We are not under a load and have DHD move to AMXRIC. Thinking about telling them we will stay here. Depends on how George feels when he wakes up. We sat for 2 hrs waiting for reload. Tim told us we would be rescuing a load in Elkton going back up to Mass. No prob. If i used a little bit of my OD driving I could make Elkton. My 14 was dwindling. Qcomm message says meet in Beltsville MD. Swap trl and this LL load delivers in Hyannis MA at 8 am. Whoa. Nobody listens or they have selective memory. Called Tim and told him (1) No way in heck would I make it to Beltsville and only had 5.5hrs left on 14 (2) i didnt pull George out of the drivers seat out of compassion for the sick..he was all over the road! Dragging the trailer into adjacent lanes and unattentive. He actually was making my anxiety rise! Very much unlike well-George who drives just fine. So Tim goes back to whomever and now the DHD move.
