    It sucks but the money is there. I hated/hate the insurance too but I need a paycheck.

    This is turning into a fun thread with everyone landing in good homes. This makes me very happy..

    It was unfortunate with what happened at Gordonland but sometimes things happen for a reason.

    When I went home after 3 weeks with my new company my wife looked at me and said she thought I had lost weight. She was right..14 lbs without thinking about it. Skooter says it's because all the stress is now gone and I am enjoying myself again. This is very true.

    The best to all of you...

    Wave to the GTI trucks as you pass 'em.....I do!!! :biggrin_25525:

    Can't do 70 all day long, only for an hour a day but it sure helps passing other trucks....otherwise 65 is good!!

    I guess people have too quickly written the obituaries for truly Long Haul Trucking... as we have seen from at least 3 of us that left Gordon, it IS still out there!

    Left Caldwell, ID and am getting ready to go to bed at the Pilot in Laramie, WY. 712 miles with 5 minutes to spare. Not my personal best, but let's see what happens through the rest of Wyoming and Nebraska when I don't have hills to climb. I feel like a truck driver again.
