Glad you got it taken care of and that the judge did the right thing. Shame the trooper didn't show up, would have loved to hear what she would have to say for herself when presented with the facts... Good luck in your search for a new company!

Congrats on your escape. Now that it is all done and gone, please answer the real question that we want to know. The trooper, how did she look?
-
So now you need to go make 1400$ to make up for that loss

whats all that you ask??????? its the sound of a great many posters on this thread eating crow.
good job, OP you proved a good many "experts" wrong -
Inquire how you can get it removed thru the court system...You will want to check your drivers report at the DMV in a few weeks.. Not sure how long they take to hit your record.... Might want to get to crankin out the apps n get hired before it hits your record... Prove to someone your a worthy driver... N deal with the ramifications after the fact

KUDOS to the op for seeing this ordeal through and standing up to the man,er woman in this instance.I too am curious how the female trooper looked, bullish or like a normal woman that just happens to be an LEO.
I have shown up in courts for tickets and had them dismissed because the officer did not attend.they don't tell you that before hand, rather asking if you want to plead out.WHY? i am here for the duration and whatever happens, happens. 15 minutes later-case dismissed.they try so hard for that revenue, even at the last minute.I had no idea that the courts still dismissed cases for traffic tickets if the officer does not show, thinking instead that they have worked around such instances, all for the revenue. -

I got pulled over today in Kentucky but I drive for a company in ohio. I didn't get cited but it states a violation of 392.82a1 using a mobile device. .. wasn't texting or talking the phone fell on the floor and I picked it up.... that doesn't matter I had it in my hand regardless.
My question is did you get hit with any fines from FMCSA? is it really
2750 for the 1st violation?
