Guys, legally you could drive almost 1k in a day if you started at midnight. The way my former friend explained was drive your 11 @ 70 mph and that's 770 miles. Take your 10. Combined with pre trip, fueling and your 10, your at 22hrs. Drive another 210 miles @ 70mph and your at 980 miles for the 24hr period. Anyone done this before???

After I run 600 or so in a day that is enough for me anymore... I'm getting too old now...Bumper Thanks this. -
I thought the same thing but thought I would throw that out. My personal best is 615 miles from NY to MI.

They hire in Illinois. The website leaves out many states they hire in. It's old info.

840 that way in a GTI Columbia Governed @60. Log book showed 14hrs drive 10hrs off duty. They verified my paper logs with trailer tracking, came back "close enough".
I did a few ugly sleeper splits in the last truck but do not remember the 24hr drive numbers.
with the 30 minute break rule you now have to do 2 shifts between 7 and 8 hours with a 10 in the middle. or sleeper splits to get 14hrs drive in a 24 hr period. -
In a Crete slow truck I ran 628...truck ran 62.
The Challenger Thanks this.
