Or in my case, the later the better. If the sun is down, I'm up.

Yep. I used to live down the road from that little place with the truck wash on Valley in Fontana.

If you're referring to the one I went to last week (self-serve, like an oversized coin-op car wash), my only complaint was the machine didn't give a receipt for the money you spent.

    That's $5 I'll never see again... *grumble*

Nah. This is a little place just west of Cherry along Valley. Full service wash and about 5 fuel pumps. Close to Schneider.

Got empty at Publix in Jacksonville this morning at 8 am. No preplan for me of course, the other JCT driver there had a nice preplan deadheading to GA going to WY. It really sucks being new, was hoping for a fast start with no truck payment on 1st settlement, not going to happen I guess.

Got preplan couple hrs later to pickup here in Jacksonville tomorrow at 12:30 going to Arlington, Texas for Wednesday. So have to sit for more than 24 hrs between loads for the 2nd time in 3 days.

Don't worry things will pick up. It seemed like they was testing my patients as well the 1st couple of weeks. When I did get a longer haul it always had to much time on it. Was always a day or more ahead of schedule. Once you get off of Keith's board it should get a lot better. I only had 1700 ld miles on my free week.

I hope it gets better, hopefully off Keith's board this upcoming week sometime. It seems every delivery I get is in the middle of the night, had times of 5 am, 4 am and now 2 am.

Well I can only go off my own experience but I have turned 16,300 miles since starting on 29th of Jan paid miles are 15,xxx.... But as one person always says YMMV (your miles may very) Haven't turned anything down yet except a check on a repower. Was in middle of break when asked.

Diabello---while Keith is testing your patience....he is testing my time management. This load has two stops. One in Layton,Ut at 2030.tonight and the other in Corinne,Ut at 0530 tomorrow. Sitting at a rest area 20miles from Layton. Doing an eight hour here, then deliver over in Layton. That should give me other 2 hour and head over to Corinne. If you are nice to the gaurd, sometimes they will let you park in the big empty area to the right of the gate. If not, there is a truck stop half mile away.

LoL I think he is there just to push you to the breaking point and see how you do with time management and if you are willing to take the bad before they give you the good.

    Alanp613 and jbizzle Thank this.
