I've never had a problem but I did see a guy get stabbed at the Flying J in OKC. He wasn't even a driver, he was the boyfriend of one of the girls that worked there and apparently the girl's ex wasn't too fond of him. All hell broke loose and I just stood there trying to get someone to give me my #### scale ticket LOL

    Ooooh...that's not what you meant.

handgunlaw.us, has everything you need to know, state by state. As long as your state has reciprocity with states you're traveling in, you're good. As far as carrying, if you're working for a mega-carrier, I wouldn't risk it. I know most O/O's leases have, don't allow weapons either and will void you lease.
The way I see it is my truck is my home, as I own the truck. I have the right to protect my home. My primary goal when I leave out, is returning to my wife and kids. As much as I'm pro-law enforcement, I can't depend on them to get to me in time to save my life. And as much as I like the company I'm leased to, they sure aren't going to be able to protect me. It's my job to protect my biggest investment...and that's ME.

Crossing the border regularly, no way can there be a gun in my truck. Even US states gun laws vary wildly enough to make that a not very good idea. I've never had a safety issue, wouldn't walk around W. Memphis at night, but why would I. I've got a nice warm truck full of food and internet, go outside? Heck naw.
