Perhaps if the fuel prices are not enough to burn some butts, then maybe the Mexican border will. Wake up fellow truckers. The Congress will review the Interstate Drayage Law of 1937(?) in the near future at the request of the FTA. If it is repealed then we can all go home and sit on the porch or work for peanuts.:biggrin_25524:

Fight illegal immigration and the open border lobby :yes2557:

I care just as much about your lifestyle and the conditions you are in as you care about our conditions and lifestyle that we are faceing these days ??? I'll do just as much to support your needs and wishes as you are doing to support ours ??? You being a ""scab"" driver has nothing to do with there being a strike at ""your"" company or not !!! You are not at this time a "scab" driver but you might be if you undermine the efforts of others next week in a lot of people's eyes !!! I think that if you can't be a positive person in the disscussion of this strike forum that (as others have stated) you should go to the other forum topic where they are downplaying this effort n chime in with your other friends there !!! In other words we don't need a wet blanket ???

Now of course if your the type that likes to fuss n fight n try to be ""KING"" of the hill then you will probably be defiant and continue to be negative about our efforts !!! I didn't threaten you !!! I even told you that I wouldn't be out there lookin for you or causeing anyone any grief but I just ( as I stated before ) wanted you to realize what could happen and what has happened in the past so that next month your not on here cryin the blues about what happened and how evil we OO's are?? Also the ones that don't support this only make it harder for those of us that do ?? I'm not the least bit worried about the mexicans takeing our jobs over this or there being a end to the OO's in general in this country.

Your ideas of there being outfits that get rid of their OO's for company trucks are totally wrong !!! There are a LOT more outfits getting rid of their company trucks and useing OO's because it takes a lot of expense off of their backs. Also it takes the hassel off of them trying to deal with or get these company drivers to do their job's ?? Some of the stuff I have seen company drivers do for no reason simply amazes me ??? Why you spent 10 days at home is more than I can understand ??? Especially since you could have taken that ten days starting the 1st of April instead of it now ending ?? I'm sure you have known of this for some time !!! I have no desire for anyone to do violence or for anyone to be hurt but at the same time (like I said before) I understand people looseing everything they have and being very upset about it !! It looks like this is going to be a major effort as I hoped it would be so GOOD LUCK TO YOU Mr Company Driver ???? Thanks to people like flatbedPete that are truely doing some-thing to support the effort !!!

I wish some dude with a gun would try to force me to drive... I'd inform him he best call 911 for a fire truck cause I'd burn it.. #### sure would. At this point I'd do as badley flippin burgers at McD's or sweeping floors at Wally World.

It’s time for ALL truckers to get together and strike. The need is now, and not just for a few hours or days. If you want to make an impact, you need to take a vacation. Take at least 3 weeks.

Get together, pick a date 2 months from now so you can stock up. Make your last deliveries because “they” might try to lock you up for stealing whatever you’re hauling, and go home.

The people of this great nation will cause such an uproar, that the government can not and will not let it continue. They will have to step in and do something, and the only thing they can do is work with, (force), the oil companies to bring the price of fuel back down to where a driver can make a living.

Some will say that it will cause too much of a hardship on people. Prices on goods will soar. That is probably true in the short turn. But, in the long run, when the price at the pump starts to drop, the people will realize that the truckers are doing what needs to be done for all.

I do believe that the people of this great nation will stand behind a strike.

In the long run, everyone but the oil companies will reap the benefits, and they have already made billions of dollars profit per quarter for the past few years.

I do believe it’s time the people regained some control of their lives, and the only way to achieve that is to shut down the nation’s commerce. Over 65% of the goods sold are carried by truckers.

TRUCKERS HAVE THE POWER TO MAKE THINGS BETTER FOR ALL.

I agree with Hilltop, we keep pushing this, and it'll never happen. And with prices as they are, you could never "stock up" on anything.
