    I have the 760. Love the size of the screen but wish was little more updated for Indiana.

    Like I-69 north out of Evansville now going half way to Indianapolis.
    Like Hwy 24 out of Ft.Wayne,In going to Toledo is now all 4 lane freeway like an interstate but shows on the 760 the old route.

    It doesn't make much difference what brand GPS you have as far as updates of maps. They all run on 1 of 2 different mapping systems (Navteq and I forget the other one) And they will be anywhere from 1 year to 3 years behind in keeping up with new roads, construction exit changes extensions, tollways, etc. All I'm saying is don't throw one away and buy another because you think you're going to get more current maps, because it's doubtful.

    @STexan

    Garmin has been doing quarterly updates that do a pretty good job with some of the gaps. I've seen some truck specific information updated so need to stay up on the updates.

    The other provider is Tele Atlas. Both Garmin and the completion use Navteq products however. Updates are what ever the contract specifys.

    I am pretty much 100% a Garmin DEZL760 user these days and have dropped out permanently from the competitor's thread, Garmin just has them beat over all including premium based products.

    If we could just get them to create a shipper/receiver database. Wouldn't that be a large database

    Dear Mr. Jon
    Could you tell me where can get a free update of NTTS Database I know Garmin provides it for $29.99 but I thought this was free information provided by a National Organization at no cost.
    Thanks

    Had my first problem with my Garmin on US 31 in Indiana as I approached Kokomo. Got a screen that said database error and then it did not have the new bypass, so the map looked like I was driving across fields.
