You already told us most of the story so you might as well share everything. Maybe someone can advise you what to do.

He did it to himself.... He'll recover in time... Hopefully a little better at taking care of his license

Final mileage tally arrived today: 15,691 for 6 weeks. Not bad, considering the first two were pretty skimpy. The last week - a partial one as it turned out, due to, um, 'the situation' - 2,794 miles. My DM's were just beginning to understand me and work well with me, then this. Ah, well. Such is life.

    On to the next adventure!

And once again, for the final time, there is no appeal, hence, no 'advise you' is needed. It's done and it's on to whatever lies in store for me this year. Time to get the Mustang out...well, once the snow melts...visit relatives, childhood home, and other points of interest.

    Just not Wyoming.

Listen to tow. Just take some time off, see the family, spend time with the grand kids and enjoy yourself. Obviously, your trucking thing did not work out as planned and came to a quick end. Hopefully something good will come out of it. Sometimes we don't see the real benefit of the bad situation until further down the road.

Take care and take the Mustang for a nice road trip.

My daughter ran into some unforseen obstacles in her life..

I told her that what we often perceive as obstacles eventually we find were guide post steering us in the direction best suited for us...

Now that some time has passed and I am 'further down the road' - and I have shoveled 5 feet of packed snow off the driveway of my triple garage...by hand...and boy, wasn't that fun - I see that I have, indeed, accomplished everything I wanted to do in trucking. I've made two cross-country trips, survived miserable weather when other truckers ended up jackknifed on the median or down in the ditch, ate some of the best and worst food I've ever had, chained going up and down the Sierra Nevada mountains, paid a "fee" to get into New Mexico (because Gordon didn't put my truck number on "the list"), slept soundly in truck stops, rest areas, and on-ramps, and enjoyed wonderful satellite music. And while I was doing all that for six long weeks, I didn't gain a pound. Not one.

All in all, though short, my time with Gordon was productive and enjoyable. There will be times I will miss it, but I am not one to live in the past very much. I will, indeed, enjoy those grandkids and adult children, and I plan to visit a childhood home that I have not seen in more than 50 years. I will miss Wyoming, though. After my home state of Alaska, it was my second favorite state. Not so much anymore, though.

So, Gordon drivers and others whose trucks I won't recognize, if you see a hot yellow Mustang convertible flashing its high beams at you out on the road, smile and wave. It will be me, smiling and waving at the "aquatint and boatswain" truck going the other way.

Never mind, I just find it terrifying to think a DMV can just take your CDL on a whim. What happened to innocent until proven guilty?
