    Agreed .....the biggest issue is convincing govt drones that compliance does not equal safety because once you take the first step down that road logically the ultimate conclusion is that they have wasted hundreds of millions of tax dollars to just justify their existance

    <yawn>

    "what if ?"

    questions that have been answered by thousands of drivers who have been on elogs for years.... World didn't come crashing down on us. Elogs totally eliminated the middle of the night calls to feel me out if I was one of those guys who'd fudge a log to help move a load... Oh and made more money and was better planned after going on elogs than before.

    almost 5 years on elogs now, some of your what ifs like truckstop parking situations are only asked by morons who don't know how to trip plan. I've always had a parking spot, always delivered on time, never had an accident.

    I don't have to cheat and I make a very good living... If you cheat you shouldn't be in business. You are clearly living above your means.

    As someone who owns my own trucking business, I have always said I don't want an EOBR in my truck/trucks. But, I was thinking about it today, if they went back to the old rule of 8hr break instead of 10, I really wouldn't mind…….

    I seriously doubt that claim.the best laid out trip plans go awry.I bet that you make your own parking spot at the fuel islands if you have always found a spot.anyone can always deliver on time when you haul freight for large outfits and all you are required to do is get it there to drop and ride around looking for an mty trailer.most of your posts purge thought and have made me rethink my position,not change my mind,but view another perspective. your post ^above negated all those prior to this one.

    please be realistic.
