I swung by a Service carrier today with my 720. They did have the Nokia Lumia 925. I did connect to the HotSpot and when I went to either Fuel or Weather, I saw the lack of connection message. I have the log I need now. I will submit this to RM for their analysis.
Just to make sure I tried a Galaxy Mega and it stayed connected and weather did show up.
I use a Wi-Fi analyzer on my phone to see the broadcasted Hotspots. The Nokia Hotspot did not drop, so it might be a security issue or ?
RM will be looking at this.
Thanks,
Mark

As with any "Smart" phone it does come with a # of available GB to allow only that "Smart" phone to access the internet. To allow other external devices to connect via the "Hotspot" or "Internet Sharing" you "may" have to purchase a "Data" plan that will cover the usage of the "Hotspot"
If you don't have the "Data" plan for the "Hotspot" then the "Access Point" may not be active to allow the 720 to connect to the internet. It will see the broadcasted SSID, but no "access" is allowed to the internet.

Had an interesting couple of routing issues yesterday and today.
Issue 1: Routing to 5109 East Willow rd, Enid Oklahoma from Yukon OK. Route should have let me take US412 east and turn left on N 54th street. then go 1.5 miles and t/l on east willow. Instead it tried to send me 5 miles further east and uturn and come back to n 54th and turn right. US412 is divided but has a left turn lane from eastbound to n 54th street. I turned left on n54th st and went about 1/2 mile to chestnut street. The unit tried rerouting me the whole way. I get to Chestnut and the unit freezes. Wouldn't reroute, wouldn't continue route. Wouldn't show truck moving. I got the my address and it was still frozen for about another 2 minutes then it unfroze itself and popped the location right to where I was supposed to be. Not sure if there was a hiccup in the algorithm or what but it had me frustrated a bit.
Issue 2: leaving from Flying J in Joplin Missouri routed to Pilot in Troy Illinois. the unit absolutely refused to route me on I44 past exit 82a. It tried sending me down US65 to US60 east to 63 north to Rolla Mo and back onto 44 from there. No matter what I tried it wouldnt route me up 44. I drove to exit 82a and kept on 44 and it rerouted me correctly from there once I passed exit 82a. I tried using the Compare Routes and the other route it gave was US65 north (Springfield) to us54 east and up to I70 east
Unit is a TND 720 running 3.56.2922.1315
map data is 3120212
Edited to add: Is there any way to remove construction info from the routing column whn its expanded on the main screen? When I'm trying to figure out how far it is from one intersection to the next, the construction entries and mileage to always mess me up
Thanks

If you click on any of the listings on the right side the left side should "pop" to that area.
I am waiting on a new demo license for my test units so I cannot grab a screen shot to show you.

I'm sure this has been asked but I can't find it (probably not looking hard enough) but I've had a TND 510 for a couple years now, and I LOVE this gps. I've had no issues with it until recently, this thing just will NOT turn on. The red light turns on like it's charging, and after a while it turns green, which I'm assuming it means it's fully charged, but it won't turn on. I paid a good chunk of money for this and I'm not really in the financial position to get a new unit. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Quite a few Windows Phone users, who are mostly Nokia Lumia owners, have reported somewhat random issues with the Internet Sharing hot spot feature. We have been able to identify at least one issue with the operating system, and a workaround to avoid it.
It seems that the Windows Phone caches the DNS servers that it uses for Internet connectivity. If you use a lot of different Wifi connections, the chances are that there are several DNS server addresses cached to your phone. The problem is that when you enable the Internet Sharing functionality, thus opening a cellular data connection, the operating system may choose to use a cached DNS server that is not available via your mobile connection.
I know you have been busy and I did PM you my phone number. I am on EST time. I will be back about 4pm today if you wish to call.

In regards to the Nokia Lumia (520), I went back to the Store and we went over the settings. The APN (Access Point) was not set up. You will need to check to see if your Access Point is set up on your phone. You might contact Nokia or your service provider to help you configure this if needed.
