About the wheelbase, if someone gets KW w900 with studio 86" with 280" wheelbase, so it won't be able to be part of f2f. I seen a pic of kw w900 leased to your company.

This thread is concerning a new opportunity where you run under Covenants authority, dispatched by f2f and you have many advantages and some disadvantages (for us, we like booking our own loads but it is work, not for everybody)BigBadBill and Road Boss Thank this. -
I don't think any of our drivers at F2F have 86" sleepers. And I would be surprised if anyone is over 250" My Volvo was 246 and Rollin was just a little longer. Maybe Provins new KW may be longer.
A driver knows how to drive (like Provins) and they can handle a longer wheel base. But from a long-term business side going with the longer base is a risk because a lot of companies just won't take them. You need to be VERY comfortable with the freight you have making that decision.
From what we are doing in the new fleet, we have very few accounts that have wheel base restriction. -
The picture on facebook that you claimed was the second driver leased to your company. It looks like pre-01 w900 color red. Has F2F on the window.

That would be Provins. That man can wheel a truck and knows how to get in and out of tight spots. He is a great example of "get the dream truck once you have made it". He drove a 780 for years before buying the beast.

I like the W900s, including my t600. This is the best truck i ever had compared to our old 2000 century with detroit 12.7 or the pete 387, same engine but 435 hp.
BigBadBill Thanks this. -
Question for Bill, how's your connections out of Detroit area? I'm more interested in your f2f side but would be open to either plan. Are you using eobr's on f2 f side?
-
Detroit would be our strongest market. We have heavy with the auto industry and are a top level carrier with Ryder, NLM, Expediters, etc.
No EOBRs at F2F but you would want to do the math between the two. Email me and we can discuss the different options. bill@farm2fleet.com -
Would your opportunity be beneficial for a driver from the San Antonio,TX area?
