I have some questions about Swift:
1) Are they on E-logs?
2) What is the pay scale for new and experienced drivers?
3) What is the team pay?
Their website wasn't helpful.

I answered your question here because it is a more appropriate place for your post and will draw more attention to your question here. I am not trying to put you on the spot but if you have questions that aren't already answered here (like the quoted question above) then go ahead and fire away. It is just more efficient to post in the appropriate threads and read the thread all the way through and you may find some questions are already answered.DriverToBroker Thanks this. -
Actually yes you can shut down for a 12 hour rest with no adverse effects on the loads you are offered. I've been doing it since I soloed as a company driver with no push backs from planners or anyone else. I run 8 to 10 hours a day and always set my PTA out to the time I know I'll be ready to go. I need a few hours unwind time at the end of the day and at least an hour and a half to get enough caffeine in my system to be human.
Frankinkeper and Moosetek13 Thank this. -
Like I said you can do it. And I guess it works well for others so perhaps they will keep you running just fine like that. I believe mossetek once said that swift will run you at the pace you want to be run (to an extent). I retract my statement that hints at negative repercussions.

So I was wrong on that question. But I wouldn't have been forced to answer it if drivertobroker would have read this thread all the way through. Lol.

My normal break, whether loaded or after the empty call if I'm nearly out of hours for the day, is 12 hours.
I don't function well with just 10 hours, and that extra couple hours doesn't stop me from running out of hours.
And no one at Swift has ever said anything, or given me more crummy loads than anyone else.A21CAV Thanks this. -

The pay scale that was posted is for new drivers only. Experienced drivers get hired in at higher rates. You'd have to call to find out what your rate will be based on your experience.

You get snarky?!?! Say it ain't so!
