As I was pumping fuel at the Pilot at exit 93 in Ct, I started reading the stickers on the pump, One said " the price on the road sign is 6 cents below the cash or credit price at the pump". I guess once they sucker you in with a low price.............. How is that legal ?

    mje Thanks this.

One better....How is that the diesel sold at the 4-wheeler/RV pumps is cheaper than the diesel sold around the back at the truck islands?

I'm gonna try to ram my 53 footer through the RV island next time I fuel. I can't have been the first.

I did that one time bobtailing. Slow pumping though; the nozzle was smaller.

You would get nailed with a heavy fine if you are caught during an IFTA audit.

    how they going to know???

you get a fuel receipt all the same.

some guys actually go to sams club or whatever. why pay the extra quarter to 2 quarters per galon at the truckstop if you don't have to.

It's not highway grade diesel fuel at the PU Truck and RV pumps. Read more signs at the pump.
