Yep, had everything planned out, and ran out of hours and over by 19 minutes in elogs as everywhere I tried to park legally, was all full up. But was trying to get as close as I could to receiver, should have just stopped like with 2.5 hours left on books, but did what I usually do waited til I got down to my 1 1/2 hour mark to find parking, if allowed with company to park on off / on ramps like others were I would have been fine but since that wasn't allowed guess what....1st time I had ran over my logs in 3 years btw.

As as far as roll over hours on elogs yep, you can one doesn't need to do a reset every time, been working on roll over hours for the past week.

this is not what many eloggers say here

I say, you must plan to only drive 9hrs with elogs, for the situations as you describe

they say, no way, if you properly trip plan, you can drive all 11 hrs and there is always a spot to park

this discussion has reached foolishness stage
if you stop in the afternoon plenty of parking
stop at 11 at night not so much in unfamiliar territory
know your conditions everyday and be able to adjust as needed
being OCD about being where you planned to be 12 hours previously causes problems no matter how you log
