All I know this paper log takes too much of my play around on TTR time. Instead of making somebody mad I have to do a recap and draw some cotton pickin lines. I ain't Never!!!

they correct it and done. this statement proves that elogs are no different than paper unless government takes all control of editing away .If drivers or companies cant trick elogs then the love for them would disappear by many

They can only edit on duty time. Drive line is not editable. I can also edit on duty time from the Qualcomm. So yes it is different.

Simple solution to this just have everyone log on duty for everything they do except for mandatory 1/2 break bump 14hrs to 18hrs keep 11 hours drive time, and 10 hr breaks...bump 70 hr rule to 126 hrs for combined on duty / drive time and keep 70 hr rule for drive time. Everyone on same page, no split breaks, something like this flat lined across benefits everyone.

no ,but im under the impression that all current elogs will have to meet a specification that hasnt been finalized yet . i may be wrong but if thats the case then most (cheap) or current versions will need updating if i edit my paper logs off duty line but leave my driving line as i drove it .im a cheater but on elogs im good makes no sense to me

Well I keep track of all my time driven within a day when I shutdown. So far no differences between what I say and what they pay me for. I'm sure they CAN edit the drive time but I don't see a reason they would want to. Plus it keep track of everything that gets edited so if the dot looks at the logs they know when and where and why it's been edited. You have to put a reason in before you can save a edit of the logs. It records the time And date of what was edited. So unless they want their ### in a sling they don't have a reason to do it.

So there #### doesn't end up in a sling believe me its being done... You think a Mega that posts 30-40 million quarterly earnings cant afford a tech geek to come in there and get around the " It cant be edited " system...
