Whiteknuckle94 I totally agree with you. There are always some people that will complain no matter what and I discount whenever I hear negativity about this or that company. There will always be complaints with any company but it usually is by a very small group of people. I'm scheduled to begin training April 14 in Indianapolis. I have a good attitude and am there to get my CDL. It appears to me that Celadon and Quality offer the most of all the other companies that I have researched. I'm tying up loose ends---2 weeks remaining until I start. We'll be in the same class if you start on the 14th. I'm trying to get my brother going with Celadon driver training on the 14th. He's out of work and I think this would be a good opportunity for him, plus we would most likely team together. He needs to be proactive but I have no control over that--it's up to him. Hope to see you in class!

    Swamprat55 and Whiteknuckle94 Thank this.

Take your time with it. Be neat and accurate, above all be honest. They will check and verify everything. Good luck!

Newbie----The application is not hard to fill out. And remember it is not sent until you hit the SUBMIT button so you can go back and change anything if you need to. They want your last 3 years of employment and the rest is your personal info (address, ss#, etc). There are alot of yes/no questions and that's not difficult. Start filling out the app and get the ball rolling---just do it! Today is a good time--keep moving forward and soon you will have your CDL . I'm set to begin the training on April 14.

You're absolutely correct. I had numerous pre-hires after checking them all out, I settled on Celadon. In my opinion, getting your brother to go with you. Would be a great opportunity for both of you and great pay. Good luck, I hope everything works out for you. Please keep me posted on your progress!

Believe it or not, with many companies the fewer the jobs the better. Because it shows stability. They rather have that than someone who's always starting another job.

Just don't want to give false info to them , all trucking companies frown upon this! Hence why I was soo anxious to start . but I feel at ease because I am glad I stayed at my non trucking job for those two years..
