A moderater has to approve my post???

Sometimes it just happens.
Sometimes it happens just because,
sometimes just because it's you....

 

It only happens if you post something suspicious and the spam filter puts it in moderation for us to weed it out. It GREATLY helps us do our jobs. We have a LOT of other trucking sites such as recruiting sites try and spam us all the time so we have set up a different way to deal with all of it now. They are like rabid dogs when trying to spam/advertise and will try all kinds of stuff so we HAVE to do it, sorry.

 

If you read some of the response, remarks, and comments people make on here, I myself dont think they monotor enough. Just yesterday I had a post removed and did not get upset at all.I was trying to sell something and they told me I could not do that. So I moved it to classifieds. I myself wish they filtered more of the the trash thats on here. If someone did not filter stuff this site would be terriable. Good job moderators!!! Go one step further and get rid of the hate, hecklers, and comments that are not made to help an individuale at all. I am so greatfull for those out there that have been such a help and offered good advice when ever the need has arrived for me to ask for advice. Thanks again to the moderators and to those out there that actually want to help others.

 

There are alot of good members here who are so helpful and considerate in answering questions and providing the essential information one seeks.

With that said, unfortunately there will always be someone with a rude, smart ### answer to come along.

We deal with these situations based on how severe the post is, because as you know, everyone has a right to their opinions.

Moderating can be tough at times, and when you have a team that is willing to work together and not against each other for ones own gain, then you have a great team.

Wiseone and I both feel that we must be careful in over moderating this forum, as this can kill a board real quick. We have seen this happen out in cyberspace and shy away from STAFF becoming wardens. (sort of speaking)

If at anytime you members are concerned about a posts content, you may report that post, and we will certainly look into it.

Communication is essential between members and the mods!

Yea, it had a reference to a trucking company that was always trying to spam us before in order to recruit drivers. Thanks, Houdini, we do try...it's not easy though. I simply won't have us riddled with links and CRAP like thousands of other forums, I cannot stand that crap. Plus, these trucking companies and recruiters make MILLIONS of dollars a year (screwing truckers) and they want to spam us for free ads? I don't think so, not here...there are plenty of other crap trucker forums where they can do that, not here.
