CHAINING...are you ready?

    So I guess I never had to chain because im always heavy? 40k or more..I think I been stuck once and the forklift driver just pushed the trailer and I was good...I watched the video...I dont think I could ever chain up...it looks really complicated

    Been going up and down donner sac-reno and back every day.. 1 I love having automatic tire chains and 2 I love driving in snow. I miss otr just for the snow days

    We have the automatic chains, and since we put them on we've only needed them twice... POUT...

    However we have just left Denver and we're heading 70-6-15-80 to CA... We just might get to this time :)

    i-25 to i-80 is only 10 miles longer and you can avoid the Colorado mountains on 70? Just curious as to why ... perhaps to see the scenery?

    I dosent anyone like going west bond on 70...its really not that bad...just takes forever if your really heavy

    We go 70 in the winter because we usually light in the box... 80 in WY is notorious for high winds and black ice...

    I see ... sort of a pick your poison either way .. high winds/black ice or more mountains and higher elevation on 70 ... I may go that way too if I was light ...
