Volvo headlamps are excellent once they are adjusted properly. Every truck from Munoz I have driven had them aimed way too low. They have a sharp E-code cutoff that reduces the glare into oncoming traffic. Use that to your advantage. Raise up the beam to where the cutoff is gradual rather than how they are set from the factory, which is practically straight down.

I now only use the fogs for additional lighting during bad weather.

No matter, the question has a lot of variables involved and it really begs the question - why are you asking?

    Lawsuit?

    Bet?

I really don't believe this. I mean, for all the regs we have out there for trucks, we still have a pretty substantial number of steering wheel holders. Gub'mint didn't stop that from happening... on the contrary, I kinda think they ultimately exacerbated that problem.
More the same with four wheelers. You can't regulate someone's head out of their rectum, plain and simple.

the lights in my KW are not what I would consider good. I hate driving at night when theres any kind of inclimate weather. although I get irritated when there is another truck passing me or running behind me with "bright" low beams and bright fog lights, I am secretly very jealous of them!!

Some of my idiot co-workers run around with just the fog lights on.
