I am going to be moving my truck to Roadrunner soon, which means I will have to give up my base plates to my present company, when that happens, do I use in transit stickers on truck, as I have to drive it to Milwaukee for orientation?

Also are all the lease trlrs new or used, do you get a choice?

As long as you have insurance, you can go to your dmv/license plate agency and get a 10 day temp tag......

    Kersey,

I am thinking about leasing on with RRST, Bruenger or A&A. Can you give me some info on the lease, pay if you do not mind and hometime.

Is it really true that the first paycheck doesnt come for two weeks after the contract signing date? I got a driver coming to work for me and I don't want to tell him that he has to wait two weeks to get a paycheck. Just curious. thanks.

so you are saying that if he starts orientation in dallas next wed and then moves out loaded and scans in trip by that saturday then he won't be paid by that next friday (start on 4/16 scan by 4/19 and paid by 4/26)?

first you should have enough money in the bank to be able to pay a driver, on an avg of 3000 miles, and by your posting it seems that you don't. But, there could be a work around for you on this situation in a couple of ways.

since your driver is just starting out, you could explain to him that he will get a draw of like $500 a week. (Adjust as you see fit but this is about avg weekly wage I would think). For the first 2 weeks. Then when you finally get paid on the loads he delivered then you minus the draws and you are set to go from that point forward.

the other thing you could do is just hold 1 week back,
