Sounds right for flatbedders. They'd whine if they got a LW. It'd be an ugly scene! LOL!

I heard that when you lease prime will let you pick the truck you want and if they don't have one they will order one for you..if I decided to lease can I get a 379 or 389 pete or will I have stick with the models they have?

My understanding you get what they got until you complete a used truck lease they are not going to order you a specked out new one until after 1st lease

So I will be able to get the truck I want no matter what model after my first lease. So I sign a second lease, complete it. Then start paying for the truck to own it outright...correct?

Slow down. How about getting your CDL first.

Prime won't let you lease for at least a year if you get your CDL through them

Hard to say specific locations. Texas seems to be a particularly hot area, but when they say they operate in all 48 they mean it.

The only area of the country I haven't spent much time in (in training) is the south east.

As far as what we transport, lots of steel, steel coils, metal building parts, lumber, drywall, spools, and pipe... I would say those are your most commonly hauled items. That's not all we haul, just the more common stuff.
