New to Prime INC - What to expect (Springfield edition)

If safety already cleared a new person to prime, and you were told that you were accepted. why would they ask you all over again.

 

First, since it's in your own handwriting, there's no question about what's on there from a legal standpoint. Second, many folks who are trying to lie their way into a motor carrier won't get the same lies on the handwritten application that they put on the online app a number of weeks back. Easy-peasy... catch 'em in their own lies.

So... you might ask, Why would one lie? Easy answer... because they think they can get away with hiding a bad MVR, accidents, tickets, firings, criminal histories... etc.

 

Just concerned that safety didn't do a criminal background check before they cleared me. Don't want to get springfield just to have them say no.

 

should I call safety on Monday and ask them. They asked on the online app about my background. But it was very specific questions. Like have you ever been convicted of druck driving or drugs or things of that nature. They didn't ask were you ever convicted of a misdameaner or a felony in the last so many years.

 

If you walk in late, you may well be told to leave. As in go home.

"Early is on time. On time is late."

 

Call your recruiter 'n fess up. Unless it was recent or violent, it probably won't be a big deal.

They do a background check before u come an another one when u arrive so dont lie dont matter how long its been when they get yo fingerprints they will know everything about u they drug test too , u will also fill out another app an if it doesnt match up youll be calling yo recuiter that means your goin home , ive witness it lots of people went home one of my classmates stayed 3 weeks finished psd thought she was clear ,called her in to office told her 2 pack her bags so just be honest

 

I answered all the questions honestly.

 

U have nothin to worry about then..... good luck
