Yeah mine expired in Dec. and I only used it a couple of times. I don't plan on renewing it.

How lucky for you! You couldn't ask for a better first year and what a way to be trained. Sounds like a win-win for you and your Dad. Plus you get time with him. That is something no amount of money can buy. Sounds really awesome. My best to you and much success.

I would love to be able to train drivers on basic skills and passing the DOT road test. I know several O/O that make some good extra cash spending a few days teaching new guys the basics and on how to pass the road test, but somehow I doubt that SFI or the insurance company would let me do that with my truck and Schneider's trailer LOL.

On my 30 now in WV. Headed up to OH for a delivery tomorrow afternoon. Pretty easy coming off hometime this go-round, got sent to the Greensboro drop lot and there was one empty left for me! After that made my pickup and headed north.
After delivering tomorrow afternoon I'll head a little further north in OH and pick up a load headed back down to NC.
Last time I saw chicknwing he was kind enough to hook me up with his old lunchbox stove. I was a little skeptical about how well these worked but I decided to give it a shot since I still haven't got an inverter for my microwave yet (I know I've been saying this for months now, lol). I bought a bunch of soups and other meals I could cook in it and just tried it out about an hour ago. I stopped and took a few minutes to line the box with tin foil, then poured in some soup and threw a Johnsonville brat in there to cook in the soup and set it behind the seat and drove for another 30 or so minutes and then stopped. Best meal I have ever eaten in a truck, by far.
Well, gonna run for another 120 miles or so and then call it a day.MThunter, Grijon and mickimause Thank this. -
Get some bread pans for it. It'll be easier to cook in. U can find them at truck stops or Walmart

I have always used a roll of aluminum foil to line my stoves with, much cheaper than bread pans and clean up is a snap.

Do you just eat out of the stove?
