+1; been with this one for 3 months. Great discounts, no transaction fees, all around pretty happy with the program. Every now and again their limited network catches me low on fuel and I have to pay cash to get enough to make things work but that's only been 3 times.
how do you purchase your fuel

Exactly, it all depends on which lanes you usually run. Buying in the cheapest states wont always help you at the end of the quarter.

Yes I do play the ifta game. lol I run pretty local. pa md wv va de mainly in md. I know pa is high on tax and if I can find it close to the md price I'm actually saving money on my ifta. The way things have worked out I have paid ifta only around $100 bucks a quarter so far. 5 yrs ago I had a dump truck and purchased all fuel from the quarry in pa that I hauled for. Their pa price lmost always beat the md price at the pump and most of my time was in md. Was getting 5 to 7 hundred back every quarter.
What type of yearly fees are associated with nastc? also trying to find out if where I fuel at is in their network. -
If anyone thinks they are saving money on IFTA by purchasing in a high tax state they are incorrect. The tax is the SAME whether you pay at the pump or at the end of the quarter. You pay IFTA for gallons burned in each jurisdiction. Those of you who say purchase at the lowest pre-tax price are correct. I looked in to NTSTC and didn't like the yearly fee.

The annual membership fee at NASTC is $250. Every once in a while, just to make sure they're not playing any tricks on us, we do a comparison using cash price at the closest truck stop. The difference is always between $120 and $160 a week.
As for IFTA, I never try to purchase fuel based on fuel tax or fuel price. Instead, I focus more on buying fuel only in the NASTC network. My Ifta payments are usually $65 to $85 foR GA, $49 for NM and $20 to $30 for KY. -
My last quarter, was my first quarter running under IFTA. I ran only in Ca, I'm based outta CA, and I still owed friggin $220 for a MONTH. WTF......
