PM sent. Thanks Mark, this will make it easier to plot my trips. Right now I have a lot of roads listed as avoid so the Unit won't try to route me through border crossings that I can't use but sometimes it still tries to route me there, this should solve those problems.

    mattbnr Thanks this.

Downloaded and installed Border Crossing POI's. There are only 2 listed for each sets,is this all there is or did it not download properly. The ones listed are not the ones I usually use, Osoyoos BC and Pac Hwy are not included in the list. Sorry should have opened the lists on my pc as I see there are lots more, guess they didn't install properly so will try to import again. I see the problem, there are several not on your list, on the US side Oroville WA on Hwy 97 and Laurier WA on Hwy 395. On the Canadian side Osoyoos BC on Hwy 97 and Cascade on Hwy 395. It seems that it only lists the ones in the immediate area of the gps and doesn't show a full list or just shows the ones along your route. I believe Sumas WA Hwy 9 is also missing, not sure if Surry is same as Pac Hwy(designated truck crossing on Hwy 15) and Abbotsford BC Hwy 11 also not there. Hope this helps a little.

    Thanks
    John

After a periodic update I ran the diagnostics on my 720.
No real reason to. I just do that from time to time.
Unit works fine as far as I can tell.
    Had 23 files with issues.
    Ran repair.
    Repair failed.
    Tried it again.
    Repair failed.
    Uninstalled and reinstalled dock software.
    Repairs still failed.

What should I do next, if anything?

just found that out the hard way. What is the correct format for the .csv files to be in?

None of my Werner drop yard, terminal, fuel stops or truck wash info loaded. some of the clearance heights stuff loaded. I'd like to be able to make the werner stuff all work.

can you post a screen shot of what the .csv files are supposed to look like for the Rand McNally TND 520?

They may have not been on the web site I pulled from. There should be 45 for each side. With yours this will bring it to 47.

IF you do by route, it should show any that are within your route.

I will look at the ones you listed and add those.

Like I mentioned, still in Beta grabbing info.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Probably need to delete the cache folder. I would need to know what OS you are running on your PC. Also you will need to have hidden files and folders set to on.

    Thanks,

PM me and I will give you my E-Mail address. Send me one of the files and I will look at it. Correct it and then send back. You then can look at the format.

Building the .csv files are a little tricky.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Looking at Oroville/Osoyoos - are the truck lanes the two outer ones on each side?

    thanks,
    Mark

Really appreciate your efforts in this project.
For Osoyoos trucks normally follow same routing as cars, only one entry lane, there is a truck lane set up there but never used.
For Oroville you keep to the curb lane as they always use the truck entry as when you go through the reporting kiosk you turn right and go through the xray machine.
Also at Laurier/Cascade on Hwy 395 loaded trucks can enter northbound into Canada but not southbound into the US as they don't have an xray machine. This crossing is also closed from midnight to 7am both ways. Empty trucks can go south.

    Thanks
    John
