I think the land gear gears are seized. Even with it off the ground, it took two people crank the handle and even then, it barely did anything.

Just got an butt chewin by my DM for not picking up the load last night. He said that Swift wasn't happy that I didn't pick up the load when they called. I said that they made me wait 30hrs for the load, and I wasn't happy, so I guess that makes us even. And that I had been up all day because I couldn't sleep any more and wasn't going to try and run it all night. And that I thought I would have been pressured into trying run all night as that is what I have come to expect from previous experience.
He understood my point, but pointed out that I should have picked up the load and at least got if off the property. And that they wouldn't have expected me to run with the load that evening anyway. I conceded his point and apologized not getting the load when they called. I am going to chalk this up to something new I learned about JCT. That they really do have the drivers back when it comes to running safe.
Still waiting for road service to show up. Ask breakdown if they had an eta on them and was told half an hour. -
In other news....having breakfast at Galaxy Hamburgers in Ontario this a.m. Then off to my favorite place, Colton. Let's see if I can get out of there in less than 15 hours this time.

Landing gear is completely done for. It is being cut off right now to load delivered in Oklahoma City then taken to Sapulpa.
While at the CAT scale, had another driver come up to me and asked if I knew I was.missing a landing leg. I said What!!!??? Oh man. Thanks for telling me.Last edited: Apr 23, 2014

Mike's griping about the miles going down, but as far as I'm concerned being dispatched for 6k miles/week doesn't mean anything if the truck winds up running off a bridge.
I can't wait until we can get in a truck that doesn't ride like a dumper. -
Just thought of something. Jarhed should be happy now there is one less R trailer in service.
Jarhed1964 and drloveofdfw Thank this. -
I say we secretly sabotage the R trailers so they can't be fixed. Figure there's 4 or 5 of us here at one a week...Lee than a year and they'll all be gone, right. That's one way to get rid of em.
Btw, if any JCT staff are creeping on here, I'm just kidding. My name is Elmer Fudd and I'm in L1432G. LOLdrloveofdfw and Trafficcontrolxl Thank this. -
Well today is not a good day for fuel mileage. Thank you mother nature you crazy ### woman. Started the day at 7.6 mpg and 604 miles later I am down to 6.0 mpg and most of today I have been around 55 - 60 mph. Had a side/head wind of a steady 25 mph and steady gusts of 45 - 50 mph. Hopefully tomorrow will be better and this wind will go away so I can get that mpg back above 7.0.... Oh if anyone one else has an Evo and from your door it sounds like a buzz saw it's that stupid access door for the DEF tank and batteries. Gonna try putting a rubber bungee on it and see if that will make the annoying buzzing go away.

#### that really sucks Macho hopefully you get on the road and have no more problems with that clunker of a trailer.
