Bunch of ruthless, crusty, ol' truck drivers. LOL

OP, don't take it personal, they are just poking fun. Someone will chime in and give you a good answer. Gotta have thick skin to be a truck driver. There is a difference between a truck driver and a steering wheel holder ya know.

Lol diesel that is what I meant. Thanks GearWarrant for your support. I am sure I will learn along the way, you have to start somewhere right?

The thing is I am hiring a driver but I have no clue how we are going to buy diesel, He hasn't been working for awhile so I know I cannot ask him pay for it and I reimburse him so I have to find other means. Hoping to get some good ideas from the helpful people in this forum.

trucking companies usually have fuel cards
usually independents and small fleets can get fuel cards independently or thru a factory company

my cousin gave a driver his CC ( dumb ) and the guy bought a TV, food , all kinds of stuff except for ....... you guessed it DIESEL ... ha ha ha

Company I work for currently has a fuel card given to us from the company we broker for. When I ran the highway we had a fuel card for a chain of truck stops.

Yankee, I like this link I will do a little more research on it. Were you saying I can load funds in this card for lumper services and repairs, or you were saying to issue them an x amount on a physical check that they can use for this purpose.
