Buy the phone outright ...avoid the contract ..... a month to month plan is $45.00 , then each gig is 10 bucks .

    Pretty good deal

The new S5 camera is all the rave

Verizon must have just come out with it , my old Verizon phone was very expensive .... I had it dropped ...apparently they are lining up with their straight talk service

Yeah, given what they and T-Mobile have, it's the only way to compete

You should see what my 30 GB data plan costs through them LOL... But it's worth every penny, especially since I have to access a load board and book my own freight. And I use my internet A LOT.

Hey, you're not saying for that mobile wifi hotspot on your phone, with Verizon, are you?
Check out Open garden if you are, it will save you a $20 bill or two... Not trying to advertise, but I really love Opengarden. Works great, and free...

Verizon stopped charging for mobile hotspot access a few months ago. Now any device that is capable of it can do it without charge as long as it has a data plan. I remember this specifically because the only reason I bought the Jetpack thing was because they charged more for hotspot access on my phone than they did for the Jetpack itself, but now the Jetpack is nearly obsolete LOL.

    No kidding?
I'd go grab my phone and check, but it's across the room...and I have a cigarette in one hand and a beer in the other, a man can only do so many things at once. In fact, I typed this with my toes.

I wouldn't know about the hotspot changes, haven't had to use it in a good long while.
Makes sense to push their data plan. Wouldn't ever count on Verizon offering unlimited, again, even when the next generation of mobile data comes along. They're hungry to stay dominant in voice/text coverage, however; they're dead set on keeping a stranglehold on that data network and they have the cash to back that plan.

They LOVE the revenue they're making off their data plans. #### what a good investment, that was for them.
