They let the wife go with. So she drove the SUV down a couple days later and we had a pretty good time. The motel room got old, but at least they were good with my wife being there. I REALLY appreciated that they did that.

It all depends. The options are varied. Look for what is best for your situation.

Thanks. I want to be OTR full time, and I'd prefer to own my own truck after my first year. Just wanted to know it was possible. I'm thinking I'll base out of Texas - I'm guessing there should be lots of tanker options if I chose this route.

GOOD LORD, you don't what bugs are like 'till you been in Wisconsin. Florida is pretty nasty too, not just the bugs, just living there must be nuts. People are pretty cool though. On a recent trip to L.A., I asked my daughter, "Where are all the bugs"? Mosquitoes in Wis. suck all the fun out of summer here. They can put a person on the moon, but can't eliminate the mosquito. I say the bug repellent companies won't let them!

Mosquitoes I can deal with, its the #### wasps, hornets, yellow jackets and the #### horse flies that I cannot stand. Mosquitoes? Hell, I wish it was mosquitoes.

I much rather live in Mississippi and get eaten by all the bugs than live in Los Angeles.
