Go to Ohio and get caught doing 15 mph over the speed limit in a big truck, and let us know how that jail you're living under is !

Please tell me how much time you think you save going 10 over the speed limit. If you can justify it by the amount of fuel and wear and tear on your truck more power to you. Proper time management will always save you time headaches and stress. Speeding does nothing but waste fuel and tear up the tractor and trailer. Think about how much more stress you put on everything. And a school telling you its OK to speed sounds like trouble.

gpsman and Lux Prometheus Thank this.

15 over limit is considered a serious moving violation. 2 of those in 3 years is 60 days loss of CDL.

You obviously don't pay for fuel. I typically run 62 tops in a 65 or 70 and my truck is not governed. It will do 90 easy fully loaded.Just no reason to drive fast and burn fuel. I may run 65 at times in a 75 zone but mostly never over 62.
